Becoming a puppy raiser for Guiding Eyes for the Blind was one of the best decisions I ever made. I've had the pleasure of watching one of my boys become a guide dog for a very caring, kind man, who just wanted his Independence back. It's not easy to train these amazing dogs, and it certainly isn't cheap. The average cost to raise a single guide dog is around $50,000, with that being said you can't put a price on gaining back the freedom these wonderful people crave for.
