Guiding Eyes for the Blind is an organization that changes lives - one pup at a time.

Please consider making a donation to support our Wag-a-Thon, a month-long marathon that I, the students at Alternative Paths Training School, and Tilly are wagging and walking in the month of May. Together we will complete an entire marathon all while raising funds and creating awareness for this cause that means so much to all of us.

Guiding Eyes for the Blind changes lives by connecting amazing people with extraordinary dogs. For individuals who are blind or visually impaired, a Guiding Eyes dog means freedom, confidence, and the opportunity to experience all of life's adventures - big and small. From Home Training to Special Needs to Running Guides and more, Guiding Eyes' pioneering programs are individualized to each student. Together, these dogs are paired with just the right student - and both their lives are forever changed.

Tilly, who was originally trained and worked as a service dog in her younger years, joined the staff at school about 6 years ago, and has been part of changing the lives of the students at Alternative Paths Training School ever since. She has been providing therapy, comfort, purpose, and animal companionship on a daily basis to many of the students here on campus. Her calm, nonverbal ways have helped many students overcome their dog anxieties. Tilly has also been willing to take new, visiting guide dogs in training under her paw as senior therapy dog.
You can be a part of this life-changing mission by making a donation today!

Thank you for your support!
