Welcome to Team GoodDogz Wag-a-Thon page!

Guiding Eyes for the Blind is an organization that changes lives - one pup at a time. However, training a dog to be a service dog is costly.
Please consider joining my team OR sponsoring Shelly the Jack Russell and me by making a donation to support the Wag-a-Thon, a month-long virtual marathon I am participating in with Shelly this May. If I can either find 19 people to sponsor me for $1 per mile, we can reach our goal of raising $520. HOWEVER, those who choose to sponsor us are welcome to donate ANY amount, large or small.
No one will know how much you donate, but the total amount for the group effort will update on the page periodically to show how much the group has raised towards the goal. Team members can walk on their own, at any location, with OR without their dog, as long as the 26 miles are completed by the end of May. Together we will raise much-needed funds and create awareness for this cause that means so much to those with limited or no vision.
Guiding Eyes for the Blind changes lives by connecting amazing people with extraordinary dogs. For individuals who are blind or visually impaired, a Guiding Eyes dog means freedom, confidence, and the opportunity to experience all of life's adventures - big and small. From Home Training to Special Needs to Running Guides and more, Guiding Eyes's pioneering programs are individualized to each student. Together, these dogs are paired with just the right student - and both their lives are forever changed.
You can be a part of this life-changing mission by making a donation today!
Thank you for your support!
