Raya is the German Shepherd that I am raising for Guiding Eyes for the blind. We brought her home in the summer of July 2025 and since then we have had so many adventures. She is due to leave us in October to go to Guiding Eyes for In-For-Training.

Before she leaves us in the month of September, we are wagging our tails to participate in the Wagathon: walking a cumulative marathon and raising funds to support the amazing work of Guiding Eyes for the Blind.

Guiding Eyes for the Blind changes lives by connecting amazing people with extraordinary guide dogs. All of their wonderful dogs are provided to their handlers free of cost. The impact of a guide dog is immeasurable in terms of the independence that it can gift a graduate.
