Our family has been deeply effected by our involvement with Guiding Eyes for the Blind whose mission it is to provide guide dogs to people with vision loss. In 2015, we adopted Linden (left) whose path veered from being born and bred to be a guide dog to living with us. He is still our Senior statesman and now at age 12 will be watching this years walk from the sidelines. His younger cousin (for real!) Judo (right) came to us in 2022 after being trained as a guide dog for 3 years (!) and just was too darn social to get to work for life! Judo and I will be walking this month on behalf of all the Dawson O'Briens. Our family was made complete by our 2 amazing Black Labs and have the good fortune of forever being a part of the Guiding Eyes family.
