We are so excited to join the Guiding Eyes for the Blind's 2026 Wagathon for a 2nd year in a row. Last year, we raised a whopping $9,000 for Guiding Eyes, and we are looking to beat that number this year. Throughout the entire month of September, you can log your miles with (or without) your dog and Do Good by raising critical funds for Guiding Eyes for the Blind.
Do Good has been Delta Gamma’s timeless motto since the beginning. This charge continues this year as we work to positively impact and strengthen our community. We believe the pursuit of doing good is never done which is why Connecticut-Westchester Delta Gamma Alumnae group has formally partnered to support the Guiding Eyes for the Blind organization through the Delta Gamma Foundation. Guiding Eyes for the Blind is an organization that changes lives - one pup at a time. Please consider making a donation to support our WAGATHON Team page! The WAGATHON is a cumulative marathon that you and your dog can do anywhere, at your own pace throughout the month of September. The goal is to hit 26.2 miles by September 30th – all while raising critical funds to support Guiding Eyes for the Blind’s mission to provide guide dogs to people with vision loss. It’s an opportunity for people and dogs alike to stay active and do good.
Guiding Eyes for the Blind changes lives by connecting amazing people with extraordinary dogs. For individuals with vision loss, a Guiding Eyes dog means freedom, confidence, and the opportunity to experience all of life's adventures - big and small. From Home Training to Specialized Training to Running Guides and more, Guiding Eyes' pioneering programs are individualized to each student.
