Andy’s first day riding the bus! Buses, actually! The CTA drivers were so friendly, as were our fellow bus riders. I suspect word may have gotten around as the first driver was a little surprised, and by the time we rode home on our fourth ride the driver looked like he was expecting us! Andy was perfect!

Andy is a pup in training and I’m his puppy raiser. He and I have joined Guiding Eyes for the Blind’s WAGATHON 2025! This September our goal is to walk a cumulative 26.2 miles while exploring the neighborhoods of our new city of Chicago and earning money for Guiding Eyes for the Blind.

Strolled through Lincoln Park Zoo Saturday afternoon, and Andy saw his first bouncy house at their Fall Festival. Met a few admirers and a family that just started donating to Guiding Eyes for the Blind, and were excited to meet a pup-in-training.
Andy had a sore paw on the 17th, and out of an abundance of caution he was put on crate rest. That did the trick! He’s bright and perky, and ready to go, go, go!
