To increase our service capacity, Guiding Eyes is launching a transformational fundraising campaign for a brand-new-state-of- the art Wellness and Training Center.
Located minutes away from our training school, this new facility will expand our horizons and broaden our capacity to serve our students and community. Our organization’s work has outgrown the current facility — in size, scope, and functionality. At any given time, approximately 200 individuals who are blind are waiting to receive their Guiding Eyes guide dog. Due to current capacity limitations, these individuals must wait up to two years to experience this life-changing partnership. We must evolve to meet the growing demands of the visually impaired community.
This project will have immediate impact on our ability to provide more guide dogs to more people who are blind — but this project is about so much more than a building. The impact of our new Guiding Eyes Wellness & Training Center will touch every facet of our work.
