Hello Friends!

Today is the last day of Wag-a-thon, Guiding Eyes for the Blind's virtual marathon-in-a-month that Jackson and I have been participating in all month. We've been having a great time walking and waggin' and we're excited to announce that we've completed a total of 40 this May! With our mileage complete, we need your support to finish our Wag-a-thon as strongly as possible. Please consider making a donation to our Wag-a-thon fundraising to support the incredible mission of Guiding Eyes for the Blind. Every dollar - and every step - helps! give.guidingeyes.org/wag-a-thon/AlyssaHolley

Human Friends:

I want to share some really good news, Alyssa and I have walked an entire marathon (lots of wags)! I will continue to walk everyday, but more importantly I will have more time to concentrate on raising funds for this incredible organization. I am a seeing eye dog - now retired - so I know firsthand the work that goes into raising and training my brothers and sisters. I loved helping people and though I am enjoying my retirement, my commitment remains to Guiding Eyes so I am asking you for your support in making the Wag-a-Thon super successful.

Woof, Woof:

Hello My Friends:

I want to start sending out updates so you can see how hard Jackson is working.

3/30/18: Jackson ( my retired seeing eye dog from Guiding Eyes) and I would like to give a special shout to the Village Service Station of Bedford NY who has raised over 500 dollars in cash donations ( which puts us over $800 to date). Keep up the good work and a million thanks. Tomorrow is the official start of the Wag-a-thon - so lets keep going and see if we can double our goal!
With Gratitude and Respect.
Alyssa and Jackson.
P.S. - Jackson will be writing the next update - an insiders view of the life of a guide dog - please look for it.

Guiding Eyes for the Blind is an organization that changes lives - one pup at a time.

Please consider making a donation to support my Wag-a-Thon, a month-long virtual marathon I am participating in with my dog this May. Together we will complete an entire marathon all while raising funds and creating awareness for this cause that means so much to me.

Guiding Eyes for the Blind changes lives by connecting amazing people with extraordinary dogs. For individuals who are blind or visually impaired, a Guiding Eyes dog means freedom, confidence, and the opportunity to experience all of life's adventures - big and small. From Home Training to Special Needs to Running Guides and more, Guiding Eyes's pioneering programs are individualized to each student. Together, these dogs are paired with just the right student - and both their lives are forever changed.

You can be a part of this life-changing mission by making a donation today!

Thank you for your support!
- Alyssa
