Thank you for visiting our support page for Guiding Eyes for the Blind! We are thrilled that you are considering a donation to this awesome organization.

Guiding Eyes for the Blind is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that provides trained guide dogs to people who are blind or visually impaired. Services are provided at no cost to the recipient. Puppies are bred at GEB facilities in Yorktown Heights, NY, and Patterson, NY and are raised by volunteers in their homes until they are ready to be tested for guide dog service.

Over the last year, we've had the pleasure of raising Baker, a black lab, for Guiding Eyes. Baker is currently in training at GEB and will hopefully be matched with a partner who he will work with for the next several years.

A guide dog offers increased freedom and autonomy to those living with visual impairment; we believe strongly in the importance of expanding access to opportunities through increased mobility and plan on staying involved with Guiding Eyes in the years to come.
